Dripping Wet in Houston
By now, if you run in the same circles as I do, you’ve probably already seen these. But I figure what the hell, it’s another blog entry and . . .
I just couldn’t help showing off the latest work on my body!
These are the first set of photos I’ve taken while on a live appearance where I can visibly and noticeably see the difference.
But don’t worry! Because I know you’ve already got your fingers on the keyboard about to warn me about getting too big! I’m not going that direction, I’m just working out more efficiently. Plus, it would be nice to be called at least a TWUNK and not a TWINK for once. Is one letter difference too much to ask for? I certainly hope not! And I’d like very much for my arms not to swim in the t-shirts I wear (while not having bought them in the children’s section!) Hey! Me working out in the gym is not just for YOUR enjoyment! I have to like myself, too, right?
So Houston. Meteor Showers! It was a great appearance, probably one of my favorite to-date. Actually, they get more and more fun. Especially since I’ve started bringing my own music. I can keep up to my own music! It seems like that last few venues have become increasingly nicer and the people that work there are growing ever more respectful and courteous toward me.
Meteor Showers is well-decorated and as updated and current as a club of this magnitude can get. Aside from the music, I’d almost call it a lounge, with the way it’s set up. The VIP section is probably the best one I’ve ever had the pleasure of sitting in. It’s on-level with the rest of the club and not isolated way up in some loft somewhere. It’s open yet partitioned so that I was protected yet people could still see me and say hello! I think that is very important for stars who are making appearances at clubs. What’s the use in coming out to see your favorite star if you can’t even see them while they are in attendance?
This is the first time I’ve done the shower on stage. My neck took three days to heal from all the throwing my hair around. The manager and organizer told me I didn’t have to get my hair wet, but I was like, “Psh! That’s the fun part!”
I have to give Jose and Alec compliments for finding the best place to hang my poster: right behind the shower at Meteor Showers. They even hung it weeks before my arrival, which I thought was a great compliment.
I almost forgot – Listen to this song while looking at the pictures. It helps give you an ear for the music I chose. This is only one of my songs from 4 sets over two days of appearances. They ranged from crazy hard-rock alternative (The Yeah Yeah Yeahs), to THIS:
Aside from the insane humidity, Houston was a well-worth-it destination.
I have another post ready and written that I put together on the plane while returning home yesteday. I am waiting for my memory card to arrive from New Mexico. I left my camera with my boyfriend accidentally, so all of my personal candid shots are en route.
Oh! Also, I wanted to make mention of something. THAT SAID – The one true award I would be extremely honored to be given this year is BEST PERSONALITY. Oh, I don’t know what to say . . . I ran for various positions throughout junior high and high school and never won anything . . . I wasn’t very popular and you know how those things go. Actually, I was practically invisible. Kinda hard to miss me these days.
Quite honestly, though I’m not ever-present, I feel like I have done everything to open up to all of you and just be who I am. Those of you who have met me in person and spoken with me know how receiving I am of everyone. I very much enjoy meeting my fans and viewers and I consider all of you friends of mine!
You have it within your power to make me Cybersocket’s BEST PERSONALITY this year. Maybe you can’t always buy my latest DVD release, but this is certainly an alternative way of showing me you truly do support and love what I do. No matter how often I blog about it!

I was in Houston on Saturday to see your performance, great job….had seen you years ago in LA when you performed for Jason at the X-Show, don’t now if the crowd at Rage that night was just typical LA oblivious – oh a porn star, I see them at Gelson’s all the time – or what, cause LA did not show a lot of interest in BC that night, but I was impressed by the enthusiasm of the crowd in Houston, they arrived early; waited patiently and; then when it was time to meet and greet lined up with fervor. Perhaps a testament to your growing popularity as you mature? nowliveit, the video for this did not work out at all. I do have a good one from the Hydrate nightclub in Chicago the night before the Grabby’s awards show but that is sitting in a can. Oh how I would love to have seen a video to these photos ! What a shame. And you cannot recommend that old x show video as Brent for sure has improved a lot since then. He looks sort of uneasy in that one. Already the dance scenes in “Big Easy”, even though in night shot eerie blue, show an impressive improvement.
