Brent Corrigan’s First 3
I’m sitting here in Las Vegas, reflecting on the last time I was here. This trip marks two years since I’ve been back to Sin City; and for good reason. If you’re at all familiar with my story, you know that two years ago this month was the last time I saw Bryan alive. Two years ago this month was the first time I met Harlow and Joe.
The year that followed was the hardest one I’ve endured yet. With the investigation into Bryan’s murder, the redevelopment of a new website and company, and an ever constant battle to maintain my footing and sanity.
But in the last year, Grant and I have managed to finally move forward instead of retracing steps. Now, we’ve released 3 DVD projects and I’m working with my editor to develop a very special Director’s Cut release. I’ve got my second Real World-esque release going into post development. No doubt, Brent Corrigan’s Big Easy, filmed in New Orleans Halloween 2008 will be a classic for years to come. I am so proud in knowing that Big Easy is everything I have aspired to bring all of you. Not to mention, in the coming 2-4 months we look forward to filming our first plot driven features. Two great scripts are sitting on my desk; these features will surely deliver.
As excited as I am for the coming few months, I’m happy to reflect on what we’ve accomplished this past year. Especially, on the eve of GayVN Award nominations! In reflection, I wanted to recap and share with all of you some of my favorite features in these DVD’s. This is the first year we are sending in DVD’s to be reviewed and nominated!
Brent Corrigan’s Summit was my first directed, cohesive adult project. We went into this project practically blind! We had hoped that we could cram 10 boys in a house for 10 days on location in Tahoe, plan the scenes and fill the B-roll space on the DVD with insight into what it’s like to participate in a blue movie. Our format was based on our time spent working with boys as we developed content for our first venture at BCO. The camaraderie, personality and enthusiasm we encountered in our models in that first leg of content helped us find our place in a diluted market or otherwise cookie-cutter market. It was our hope and direction to create the same atmosphere in Tahoe.
Looking back, I was so overwhelmed and I have no clue how I got out of it all with what we did. Summit has been a best seller at Dirty Bird Pictures and held strong on the distribution charts under the top 10 longer than the average best seller. It being our first project, I believe our best move was letting it flow and not forcing it into some other predetermined mold. There is nothing like this on the market today and I look forward to seeing this video take Best ProAm Video of 2008 at the GayVN Awards.
These are some of my favorite highlights from Brent Corrigan’s Summit. My scene with Mason Wyler was pushed to the last bit of the trip. It was extremely difficult playing hard to get with Mason as we spent a week or more in the house together before we could finally consummate our lustful longings for each other. The visual aspect of this scene is stunning and the sex is glorious; our bodies compliment each other and our sexual passion for one another is ever present.
Our second DVD release this year was a little something we call JUST THE SEX. A compilation of some of our best from the year; the visual quality in these scenes sets a clear and present direction for quality in our company. With 5 scenes (three including ME!) and one Brent solo – this is the best Brent Corrigan single purchase you may could ever make! In his first scene EVER, Steve Oliver bangs the shit out of Kurt Wild and you don’t miss a beat or a stroke! One thing Brent Corrigan Inc and Prodigy Pictures will always be able to boast is the best seat in the house; you’ll never miss the ‘hot spot’ in one of our scenes.
Brent Corrigan’s JUST THE SEX 2 continues the series with the inclusion of Jacob Powell and Justice McClain. This scene is from the shoot that started it all! Working with these guys helped me find my aim and focus in the adult industry. Both of them were ecstatic to be filming and they showed an interest and sexual curiosity for one another that directs the scene. Justice was nervous about taking Jacob’s 9 inches but was up for the challenge despite! These two smile and laugh together and the scene flows with an ease and casualty that is organic and simple. I’ve held on to it for nearly 3 years and it truly is a gem!

The insight and thoughtfulness with choosing to use the word yet is rather profound . Your input, time, effort, planning, organizing, and action you’ve exerted to get where you are, within the industry you are, alongside your personal challenges is extraordinarily amazing to read about. To live it, you may grasp how unique your life’s path is compared to the other 6 plus billion of us. I only can wonder though if you actually are to close to the picture to see, you are without doubt, one of a kind. You know as a Warhol, a Washington, an Alexander the Great .

Yeah Bop, you are right about Brent in that he does not realize how uniquely and truly awesome he is and that my friend is what makes him extraordinarily beautiful. The fact he does not exude his extraordinary talent in personality is what makes him so loveable because you get no sense of arrogance from this young man. when in fact any other with his talents would or could seem inately unapproachable. Brent keeps it real for us who love him as more than a porn star or model but as a real human being that is just trying to get through this life.
Hey Brent, am truly looking forward to your release of Big Easy, as I know it was truly a pet project of your and Grants this year and am sure it will be a great success this year for you both. I sense this just reading your take on your feelings on this project.
As for your current award(s) you truly deserve them because your work is some of the best available on the market today, becaiuse your project show heart and desire to deliver the best and not sell your followers short on content and delivers the best photography/videography as you mentioned “gives the best seat in the house”. T hanks for that babe.

FDR was right when he said, “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.” You and Grant are embodiments of that statement. You remind all of us that the American Dream is achievable in different avenues and byways.
I have my copies of each of your DVDs. None of them are dull; none of them devolving into mere mechanics. I look forward to even more releases.
